It's incredible how little she's aged in 20 years.
Almost exactly two decades ago Cindy Crawford was the 26-year-old cover girl for Shape magazine - and now she's back.

And it looks like barely a day has passed since the Illinois-born beauty donned a swimsuit and posed for the first time for them.

The mother-of-two opened up to the magazine about her anti-ageing secrets and about how she has kept her trim, gravity-defying figure after all these years.
She told Shape: 'You take your body and your fitness for granted in your 20’s a lot and to do a Shape cover now at 46 reminds me that all the hard work and all the times that you work out even when you don’t that it all pays off.
'It’s cumulative. It will catch up to you over the years either in a bad way if you don’t take care of your body, or in a good way. If you do take care of your body.'

Crawford says that she is fully committed to staying in shape and works out at least three times a week with a personal trainer.

And on top of that she likes to do other outdoor activities with her girlfriends.
She said: 'I try to go hiking once a week and I really love to go with a girlfriend because it’s like therapy plus working out.
'It reminds me to stop and appreciate that I’m in Malibu and that I have these beautiful surroundings.'
Crawford, who used to be married to Richard Gere, also conceded that most women do not have the free time or the resources she has to keep up a gruelling fitness regime but said that 'whatever you have time for' is better than nothing.
She said: 'I think a lot of women get in this head that if you don’t have an hour to go to the gym then it’s not worth it - but 10 minutes is worth it, 30 minutes is worth it.

Another piece of advice from the entrepreneurial model, who also has a beauty product line and a home furnishings line, was for women to aim for and maintain a 'do-able' weight.
She said: 'An interesting beauty tip that I got from Dr. Sebagh [who she works closely with on her beauty line] that made me think and a lot of women don’t think this way, but pick the weight you can maintain, so it’s not your skinniest weight , it’s your do-able weight, and stay there.
'He really feels like when you yo-yo - you lose five pounds, you gain five pounds - that’s really bad for your skin because of the elasticity.
'Your skin stretches and then it goes back and then it stretches.'

Crawford continued: 'I think the mistake I see women make is the wrong color foundation.
'Taking care of your skin is what you put in your body.
'Drinking a lot of water and of course the healthier you are, the more of a healthy diet you eat I think that shows on your face.'

Meanwhile the jet-setting clotheshorse and her businessman husband Rande Gerber have just returned from a short break in Puerto Rico.
The pair were spotted on Monday at Luis Munoz Marin International Airport after spending a few days in San Juan where Gerber, 50, was launching his new rum brand Caliche.

While Rande shmoozed - he owns 22 bars in all including Whiskey Blue both in LA and New York - Cindy relaxed at the hotel and on the beach with the couple's two children, Presley, 13, and Kaia, 11.

On Friday Cindy tweeted: 'Enjoying a lazy afternoon in Puerto Rico--here to launch hubby's rum @caliche!'

The next day she might have been feeling a little reflective when she added: 'We love living by the beach - - to me, there is something so therapeutic about the sound of the ocean.'
